Welcome ....                                                                                Iknow it can feel hard at times when all your baby is crying and you can’t remember the last time you got a good nights sleep. Yes that  can be frustrating at times, but being a mum is so joyful and rewarding too.

It's also great to be able to share the arrrr times with other mums who understand your delight in your baby's developmental mile stones, when you see baby’s first smile, a tooth come through, rolling over, sitting up, crawling and walking .

As a new mum you may feel lonely at times especially if you were working and are now at home.  Possibly, there may be some questions you want answering or you may just need that little conformation that what you are doing is ok.

When you join Olive Leaf it becomes your group because you contribute to the workings of it. You, can make your own suggestions about what you would like to see or do during group time.  Its great to meet other mums and have a feeling of belonging. The group meets each week for a 2 hour session where you will aquire from the group an inspirational experience, due to varous topics introduced each week for discussion.

  •  Mum-2-B, do you know what to do?

to encourage interaction and bond with their baby;
to encourage self esteem and confidence  -to grow;

help support  their needs  and understand how to meet  baby's needs.

Sessions

We cover a different topic each week.

You will be hearing various parenting tips from experienced mums and qualified support workers.

There will be pampering sessions. This is when you are encouraged to join in and give each other a manicure or facial. Our pampering sessions are great for self esteem and confidence building.

You will have an opportunity to do baby massage and baby signing. This is great for baby and mum play time, to encourage bonding.

There will be some “walk 'n' talk” outings for a bit of exercise and fresh air, this is another opportunity to get to know each other better.

    Most of all ..... there will always be plenty of opportunities to make new friendships and have lots of fun and laughter. You cover
everyday skills from budgeting to form filling and even the importance of good nutrition etc.

     E
ach session will be an individual, stand alone session, so there's no catching up to do even if you miss one.

Please see your Health Visitor or doctor if you have any concerns about you or your baby's health.
